Hot Country Couples

Right around the time my children turned 3 years old, my son became fascinated with country music. He was sitting on my bed and had already learned how to work the remote (must be a man thing) and was flipping channels. He stopped right on CMT (Country Music Television) and would not stop staring at the screen. I was not sure I was ready for listening to Country having not known much about Country music at all. I did not want to squelch his love of music though so I started to listen and watched with him. In some ways I could tell he was just like his mother being able to learn all the words to all the songs very quickly. He would go around with a cowboy hat and guitar just belting out the latest tunes. It was quite a sight.

So this is dedicated to my son who has since moved on to other music genres but still has his favorite country singers and songs.

Here are a few country couples that I would consider hot for different reasons:

KEITH URBAN AND NICOLE KIDMAN - MARRIED JUNE 25, 2006

Keith Urban was born October 26, 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand and is a country music singer. Urban is best known for his breakthrough hit Somebody Like You.

Nicole Kidman was born June 20, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kidman is an academy award winning actress best known for her marriage to Tom Cruise.

GARTH BROOKS AND TRISHA YEARWOOD - MARRIED DECEMBER 10, 2005

Garth Brooks was born February 7, 1962 in (1962-02-07) Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brooks is known for his music and being one of the best selling artists with six albums reaching diamond and sold out concerts everywhere.

Trisha Yearwood was born September 19, 1964 in(1964-09-19) Monticello, Georgia. Yearwood rose to fame as a protégé of Garth Brooks and made her breakthrough with her hit She's in Love with the Boy.

BRAD PAISLEY AND KIMBERLY WILLIAMS - MARRIED MARCH 15, 2003

Brad Paisley was born October 28, 1972 in Glen Dale, West Virginia. Paisley is best known for his 13 number hit songs as well as his tongue and cheek sense of humor.

Kimberly Williams was born September 14, 1971 in Rye, New York. Williams is an actress best known for her roles in the movies Father of the Bride, Father of the Bride II and the television series According to Jim.

Vince Gill was born April 12, 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma. Gill is a solo country singer that is high demand as a guest vocalist doing duets with several musical artists from different genres.

Amy Grant was born November 25, 1960 in Augusta, Georgia. Grant is best known as a Christian musician and her number one hit Baby Baby.

TIM MCGRAW AND FAITH HILL - MARRIED OCTOBER 6, 1996

Tim McGraw was born May 1, 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana. McGraw is a country musician and son of former baseball player the late Tug McGraw. McGraw is best known for his songs Indian Outlaw, I Like I Love It and Live Like You Were Dying to name a few.

Faith Hill was born September 21, 1967 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Hill is a country singer and is best known for her country pop crossover hit This Kiss.

CLINT BLACK AND LISA HARTMAN - MARRIED OCTOBER 20, 1991

Clint Black was born February 4, 1962 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Black is best known as a country singer and for the songs Killin Time and When I Said I Do.

Lisa Hartman was born June 1, 1956 in Houston, Texas. Hartman is an actress best known for her roles in the television show Tabitha and Knots Landing. Hartman is also known as a singer most known for her duet with her husband Clint Black When I Said I Do.

JOHNNY CASH AND JUNE CARTER - MARRIED MARCH 1, 1968

Johnny Cash was born February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and died September 12, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee. Cash was a country singer whose songs truly spanned several different genres. Some of Cash’s hits were; I Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Man in Black and A Boy Named Sue.

June Carter was born June 23, 1929 in ScottCounty, Virginia and died May 15, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee of complications following heart valve replacement surgery. Carter is best known as a singer and actress. Carter performed several duets with husband Johnny Cash.

ELVIS PRESLEY AND PRISCILLA BEAULIEU - MARRIED MAY 1, 1967

Elvis Presley was born January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi and died August 16, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. Presley was known as a singer and actor. Considered The King of Rock and Roll, Presley has many movies and songs to his resume. Even though he died years ago some believe that he is still alive.

Priscilla Beaulieu Presley was born May 24, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. Priscilla is famous for marrying Elvis Presley and as an actress in the Naked Gun movies opposite Leslie Nielsen.

ROY ROGERS AND DALE EVANS - MARRIED DECEMBER 31, 1947

Roy Rogers was born November 5, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio and died July 6, 1998 in Apple Valley, California from congestive heart failure. Roy Rogers was famous as a singer, cowboy, actor and entrepreneur. He starred with his wife Dale Evans and his horse Trigger in many movies and on The Roy Rogers Show.

Dale Evans was born October 31, 1912 in Uvalde, Texas and died February 7, 2001 Apple Valley, California from congestive heart failure. Dale Evans was a singer, actress, writer and movie star best known as the wife of Roy Rogers.
