Beyoncé Knowles was born September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Beyonce is best known as a singer first in the group Destiny’s Child and as a solo artist.  Beyonce also acted in the movies; Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Fighting Temptations and Dreamgirls.

Diahann Carroll

Diahann Carroll was born July 17, 1935 in The Bronx, New York. Carroll has acted in movies, on television and on stage and is best known for her leading role in the television series Julia.

Dorothy Dandridge

Dorothy Dandridge was born November 9, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio and died September 8, 1965 in Hollywood, California. Dandridge was an actress and singer best known for her lead roles in Carmen Jones and Porgy and Bess.

Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt was born January 17, 1927 in North, South Carolina and died December 25, 2008 in Weston, Connecticut. Kitt is best known as the second Catwoman on the Batman Series.
