It is that time of year again (no not the time when Santa is checking his naughty and nice list). The time of year when Barbara Walters makes her list of the 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year.
For 2009 they are…
LADY GAGA was born March 28, 1986 in New York, New York and is a singer. Lady Gaga is best known as a singer with such songs as Poker Face and Just Dance and her outrageous fashion statements. Lady Gaga has stirred controversy regarding her sexuality and some have questioned her gender as well.

Interesting hub TM. but before you close this hub, Ms Walters aside, I think Elin Nordegren made the cut :D
Thank you for a very informative hub.
very entertaining. Now I got some more interesting "inside edition" news I didn't know about. Is that show still on?
best regards,
Nice hub...some on the list are a major yawn and old news. My abosoulte favs are Favre, Perry and Ms. Obama.
Mr. Perry - is a wonderful rags to riches story that is simply amazing. Regarding his recent bout of critic attacks you must consider the source. Perry's movies are God filled vehicles, full of old Mother wit and takes on current social and personal issues that Blacks suffer today. Why is it impossible for Blacks to have a happy ending? His most outspoken critic is Spike Lee, who feels that Perry is a sell out. Lee is a Woody Allen wannabe whose movie pieces do more to ingrain sterotypes than anything Perry has produced. I buy movies, plays and music written by the talented Mr. Perry site unseen can't say the same for Lee. On the plus side Tyler has put a lot of talented Black actors to work who later go on to other bigger things. His newest release of Precious has Oscar rumors and perhaps an Academy nod for Monique'. What has Spike done lately, beside sell shoes for Nike?
Brett Favre - this guy shows that age is nothing but a number his longevity in the game of football and dead on accuracy shows he is truly the best quarterback of all time.
Michelle Obama - wow..I'm awe struck every time I see her. Beside my Son and Mother she is my hero.
Thanks for hub and have a great day. By the by your triplets are adorable!
She's a brave lady for attempting to make such a list. I don't even live in America but I am sick of hearing about some of these people, especially Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin.
For whatever reason, Lady GaGa fascinates me. I honestly don't know what it is lol so I can see why she made the list :) Kate Gosselin...umm, not so much lol
Interesting list. Some of these people scarcely make the news here in England. Others like Lady Gaga are mentioned almost daily.
Thank you for very informative and great hub, thank you for sharing it. Godspeed. creativeon59
